Body:

I want to start with a little business.  Is there anyone out there that has interest in ‘buying’ cash flow through some real estate purchases?  I have some opportunities I could use a partner on.

On a second piece of business, I wanted to welcome a new sponsor to the newsletter, World Café Live.  For those not familiar with WCL, it is a 5 year old music venue located at Penn and is associated with XPN.  They have the best acoustics in town (maybe the Kimmel Center is better).  They have lots of smaller acts on their main stage and their upstairs stage has locals every night of the week which is perfect for someone wanting to get a few drinks and/or bite and here some upcoming musicians.

Have you ever wondered if people putting chairs in the street saving a parking spot is legal or how the city views it?  Well here is your answer.

A few weeks ago, I included an article on state run liquor stores.  Another reason not to like them is that they are closed on Presidents Day.  NJ liquor stores were open that day….

Something I have to comment on.  With the Obama stimulus dollars, the region is going to get some new bike paths which I am sure will be great.  But can you believe it is going to cost $10.6 million to build extend the path along the river from Locust to South Street?  I just looked it up and it is only .3 of a mile.   No wonder people think the government wastes money

Did you know Rex Ryan (Jets coach) is a Flyer fan?  He was at a Carolina game against a random team last week and was wearing a Flyers jersey.  They had him put on a Carolina jersey but he went to the game wearing a Flyers jersey.  Maybe from when Buddy Ryan was coaching in Philly?

And as always, please let me know if you are thinking of buying or selling a property.  I want to be of help…..  And I thought I would share something else that I recently launched.  It is a website of my Temple University properties: http://www.templearearentals.com/
